Nk̓ʷusm (Salish Language Revitalization Institute) is pleased to offer the Second Edition of the English to Salish Translation Dictionary (seliš nyoʔnuntn).  The 816 page hardcover book is published by Salish Kootenai College Press, Pablo, MT and distributed by the University of Nebraska Press, Lincoln, NE.  The preface includes a pronunciation guide and a brief history of Salish Orthography.  The dictionary also includes root words and affixes, kinship tables and a grammar section.  The dictionary was written by Nk̓ʷusm’s Executive Director, Tachini Pete. Click the links below to view parts of the of the Salish Dictionary. The first edition was published in 1998. All proceeds from sales of the Salish Dictionary go to Nk̓ʷusm.
